Michaela Kober

 

Born in Klagenfurt, Austria. Studies in instrumental and singing pedagogy for double bass and cello at the State Conservatory of Carinthia, obtaining a degree in double bass performance with Christine Hoock at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Regular participation in masterclasses throughout Europe. Further studies in Cultural and Music Management at the Alpe Adria Universität Klagenfurt and the Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg. Currently studying Cultural Management at the Institute for Cultural Management and Gender Studies of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Besides her teaching activity at various music schools in East Tirol, Austria, she regularly collaborates with several Austrian orchestras. Since 2016, she manages the organization of the International Rhodius Academy Masterclass for Double Bass at Schloss Burg Namedy.
